France Coast - Avranches to the Loire Valley

The Tower of the Arsenal was built in the 13th Century to reinforce the castle's defences. Unfortunately the Roman Keep disappeared in the 19th century. You can still get panoramic views of the bay and the valley of the river See from the top of certain sections.
